How You Can Avoid Weight Gain after a Diet
Carb Creep is the Number One Culprit!
There are several reasons why you may regain weight after achieving your weight loss goal. Today we focus on “carb creep.”
To be successful in weight maintenance you want to aim for only two carb “events” during the day.
For example, if you have a piece of toast, fruit and yogurt for breakfast or through the morning, you want to have carbs only one other time during the day – let’s say fried rice at dinner, or a serving of potatoes. Those would make up your two carb events.
Where we get into trouble is having many little carb bites during the day which continually stimulate your fat storage mode.
By being purposeful in how many times you eat carbs during the day (along with other BonVie strategies) you can successfully maintain your goal weight over the long term.
